Once in a while, its good to take note and find out what youre taking pride inis it worthwhile? Each of us as individuals needs to know what he stands for. John Wayne |
John Wayne knew that leadership is something inside all of us, waiting to be expressed. Leadership wasnt something to be sought, but rather something that came out of our values, our character as people. Were looking for leaders to help us spread the John Wayne legend to future generations.
Since 1980 the John Wayne Birthplace has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors to see the small house where John Waynes life began. Now, with our proposed expansion project bringing more than 8,500 square feet of additional space including a visitors center, general store, theater, display space and numerous engaging interactive exhibits documenting his life, it is anticipated that the visitors will increase from the present 35,00040,000 to over 75,000 annually.
Will you be one of our Leaders?
To help finance our ambitious effort to bring the legend of John Wayne alive, and help develop new leaders through character development, we have created a program to recognize the films of John Wayne and honor those who embrace him as a true leader. You can sponsor a laser-engraved granite block, one for each film starring John Wayne, that will be set in concrete to form our Walk of Fame which will connect the Birthplace home with the new Museum. Or you may support the museum with a Tribute Brick. You will be permanently recognized for your support of John Wayne and what he stood for.
Please consider our Walk of Fame and/or our Tribute Bricks as a fitting tribute and show your support of John Wayne and our efforts.
The Walk of Fame stones are made from natural granite and as such some color variation will occur. These samples shown will be typical of the color for each block, but may not be an exact match.
